Senior Associate/VP, Impact Private Equity Fund in the Water and Sustainable agriculture area

Overview

The Associate will be involved in private equity investments, client services and business development in Asia.

 

Professional Responsibilities

The role will be involved in the following critical activities:

  • Screen, analyze, conduct due diligence on and monitor private equity investments
  • Build and modify models for investment program cash flow projection, fund cash flow and return analysis
  • Prepare investment memorandums and present recommendations and due diligence findings to investment committee
  • Support fundraising efforts for future funds
  • Client relationship management support including ongoing portfolio management and reporting activities
  • Develop market research
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

 

General Education, Skills or Experience and Physical Requirements

The individual in this position should be highly self-motivated and have experience working in the financial industry. The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:

  • MBA or CFA preferred;
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an Associate and/or Analyst in private equity, investment banking or consulting/advisory
  • Verbal and written English fluency required; fluency in one or more Asian language highly preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong organization, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and work both independently and as a productive member of project teams

 

Details and Timing
